We are going to go over quite a few of the trends that you should look for whenever you are purchasing a dress for any spring/summer occasion!  By far, one of the dress trends that seem to be popping up everywhere is the one-shoulder dress.

This style has been around for quite some time now and seems to be continuing through 2010 and I have to say I am super excited!

So we have covered all of our bases on the greens, let’s move onto another color that is certainly very spring-like and definitely popping up everywhere, especially in a lot of designer collections and on the runway – purple!  Purple is a color that is very bright and certainly very feminine and beautiful at the same time.

This is one color that pretty much anyone can wear and it is a fantastic color if you are looking to spice up your lingerie collection a little bit.  To be perfectly honest, many women when they want to feel beautiful slip into something purple.

Now that we have talked about one bright and springy color; neon green, let’s talk about another green that is making waves all over the place and that is peppermint green.  This green is fantastic for women who are a little bit older and are looking to not stand out nearly as much as the women who wear the neon green.

The cool thing about peppermint green is the fact that it truly can look good on anyone and it comes in many different shades and certainly a lot of different styles.  If you are looking for classy and chic, this is certainly the green for you!

One thing that a lot of people do not think about when they think about fashion trends is the colors that go into the fabrics and into the collections.  In the next three blogs, we are going to talk about what color trends are out there for spring and what you should definitely fill your wardrobe with to stay in style!

Neon green is by far one of those colors that you would not expect to see but that is constantly popping up in a lot of designer collections.  It is actually one of those colors that does not seem to look good on anyone but it is truly a youthful color that is changing the world.

You want to attract some attention?  Put on a neon green dress and you will attract a lot of attention!

I am, of course, talking about knee socks. Knee high or over the knee, even thigh high if you dare, these are going to be big this year. That is quite enough for me to start getting my legs in shape.

The key with knee high socks, though, is to keep your body shape in mind. For example, if your thighs are on the larger side, then you do not want your socks to reach that high. However, if your socks fall just below your knee, then they can offer a slimmer look — always good!

It involves … bunny ears. Not, like, Playboy bunny ears or anything like that exactly, it’s sort of a headband trend with a twist.

I mean, apparently it is perfectly acceptable to wear those kinds of bunny ears, not to mention Disney ears, but it is really about great big over sized bows and things like that.

See this here? Yeah, this. It’s best to wear it with tousled hair — you know, just out of bed hair — and to keep it to the evening hours. Fun daytime activities work as well, but this is not a look you want to take to the office.

Well, let me remind you that we live in a world where Halloween costumes go up at the end of August and Christmas decorations emerge before Halloween has passed. Enough said.

Know what you’re going to be seeing in stores soon? Hot pants. That’s right. Hot pants and boy shorts, in fact. You might want to start going to the gym as soon as you stop reading this.

I know, the style is a little cringe worthy — but isn’t that what trends are for? So you can buy them now and then wonder what you were thinking three hours afterward, when the style becomes obsolete!
