Now that we have talked a little bit about those terrible boots, let’s go ahead and talk about something that I absolutely love! I think that the leather-cape trend is something that is going to take off! Not only is it marrying three major trends for 2010 in this one particular look, but I have to say that capes are brand new and they are so hot!

Want to know what the three trends are? Well, leather – we all know that leather is very, very hot right now, big shoulders because face it – these are some big shoulders and finally the cape trend. This fits into all of them and is by far the most stylish way to get warm!

So if you are looking for hot – capes that are leather are hot!

It has to be said … Prada is out of their frickin’ mind! Personally, I think that the newest trend in boots is fantastic … thigh-high, skin tight boots are hot, however the new Prada’s Thigh-High Fishing Waders are … not hot. Actually, these boots were designed specifically for fishermen so they didn’t get water in their shoes … what is the reason for these?

Personally, I do not think that these things look all that great if only because they are a little bit baggy. While I thought this particular look did not work on the streets, I am absolutely SURE that this look does not work on the streets – however, model after model are investing their hard-earned money in Prada’s Thigh-High Fishing Waders.

If you are looking for Prada’s Thigh-High Fishing Waders – you better be willing to shell out some dough!

Now that we have talked about one of the hair trends itself for this fall – one thing that you should know about fall is that the layers and very long hair are very in. For serious! One of the first trends that are huge for the fall is darkening up those strands. Do you ever notice that in the summer it is all about sun kissed hair? Well, in the fall, it is all about the dark hair. Now, if you have blonde hair, I am not suggesting that you go black, however, dirtying your blonde up a little bit is definitely recommended.

Capes, Capelets and Cloaks: A 2010 Fashion Trend!

If there is one thing that I have noticed lately for the 2010 fashion trends, it is going to be that Capes, Capelets and Cloaks are the hot item. These beautiful capes, cloaks and capelets all remind me a little bit of the earlier days – like the 40’s where things were easier and fashion was absolutely beautiful. These three particular looks are very different styles and that is what I wanted to show you … the cape does not have to be superman looking, it can be fashionable.

Fringed ponchos are another fashion trend that is coming back, only because it is going to be part of the capes and cloaks trend. Personally, I am excited about this new trend as I am a sucker for capes and cloaks (yes, I know … it’s dorky, but it’s nerd-chic now!).

The cape is absolutely going to be one of the major fashion trends next year, so really make sure that your wardrobe is going to include some of these beautiful pieces!

Vera Wang Has It Down This Fall!

It seems to me that I am always saying that another season is right on the way. Take summer for example, that is here now and fall is right around the corner. However, the cool thing about fall coming is there are a ton of different fashion trends available this fall that are quite incredible looking. One look that is really hot this fall is going to be the bell shaped shirts and dresses.

Now, if you have no idea what the bell shape is, you should take a look at this piece that Vera Wang designed and then that should tell you exactly what it is! It is basically a shirt or dress that looks just like a bell and to me, it looks pretty freakin’ incredible. Fall is going to be filled with shirts sort of like this along with some tapered pants.

So when you think bell-shaped, you should think Vera Wang … she is no longer just for the wedding dresses!

Ellus Fashion Fall/Winter 2008-2009

Ellus introduced the stone washed jeans to Brazil, but it looks like they’re introducing quite a few other innovative new things into Brazilian fashion. It’s a very hip and young runway show, and i picked my favorite looks for all of you.

Iodice Fashion Fall/Winter 2008

This catwalk show from Sao Paolo’s fashion week was probably one of the most anticipated of all in Brazil. The Iodice label has been growing at a tremendous rate ever since it opened its first store back in 1998…

This collection is beautiful and stylish. Feminine fashion with lovely colorful twists. Very nice!

Fur Fur Fall/Winter 08-09 from Tokyo

Fause Haten Fall/Winter 08-09

Fause Haten is one of those fashion designers that is good at just making pretty fashion everybody likes. At Blog-Tique Daphne isn’t too sure about the colorful pieces from the Fause Haten collection but she’s just nuts — this collection is completely awesome and I’m loving every single bit of it…
