The Aurelio Costarella collection for 2008 was titled “Of Heaven and Earth”. The designs were elegant and sexy, and the whole show was so fun to watch. I adore the color palette that he used for this. I truly expect to see some of these dresses on celebrities during award shows in the coming months. The strapless with the slash side pockets is my absolute favorite. It is very innovative. Overall, the entire collection is great – colors, styles, fabrics – everything was perfect! I do wish they would encourage smiling more from the models. After all, these designs are so beautiful I, for one would be grinning like a Chessy Cat just to wear them.
